PhD in functional ecology and biogeography
I am a plant functional ecologist. I am focusing on the impacts of global change and forest management on forest dynamics and woody distribution ranges.
I am also studying the effects of climate change on water circulation in soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. I am using a multidisciplinary approach (functional ecology, ecophysiology, biogeography and community ecology) and I am working at various spatio-temporal scales: from local scales (plant-environment interactions) to global scales (tree distribution range) via stand scales (forest dynamics).
