Welcome to the website of the laboratory of Prof. Morgane Urli of the Département des sciences biologiques of the Université du Québec à Montréal.

We are focusing on the impacts of global change on tree survival and growth, on the forest dynamics and vulnerability, and on a broader scale, on the tree species distribution range.

We are also studying the effects of climate change, and more particularly drought, on water circulation in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. We address research topics through a multidisciplinary approach (ecophysiology, functional ecology, community ecology and biogeography) and we are working at different spatiotemporal scales. Thus, our work covers local scales (plant-environment interactions) to global scales (tree distribution range) through the stand scale (forest dynamics).
